POLICY ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
 
The objective of the Policy on Protection of Personal Data 
This Policy on Personal Data Protection provides information on the processes of
 Zeplin Turizm Taşımacılık Yatırım San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (ZEPLIN) regarding the collection of type of personal data, 
Your rights on your personal information processed by ZEPLIN and how you are entitled to exercise such rights of yours,
How the personal information is used and for what purposes,
The technical and administrative precautions and measures taken regarding the security of your Personal Data,
The individuals or institutions that ZEPLIN is entitled to share your personal data,
The retention time for your personal data.
The Objective for the Processing of Personal Data and Legal Grounds
ZEPLIN, within the framework and scope of its legal liability and obligation resulting from the Law on Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and other relevant regulations and legislation and for the purpose of offering better services to its customers, requests your personal data (identity particulars, occupation, gender, contact information, policy details, payment details, insurance product details, marital status, vehicle’s license plate, etc.).
 
Personal data shall be processed for the purpose of ensuring you to benefit from services of ZEPLIN in a more effective and efficient manner, pursuant to your explicit consent or in circumstances set forth  in Article 5/f.2 of KVKK (Law on Protection of Personal Data) and the legal legislation we are subject to, provided not to be utilized outside of the purposes and scope set forth by this Policy on Protection of Personal Data, by taking the entire required security precautions and measures and shall be retained within the statutory term or as long as required for the accomplishment of the purpose of processing.
 
Authorization for Transfer
ZEPLIN is entitled to transfer and share your personal data, pursuant to your explicit consent or in circumstances set forth in Article 5/f.2 of KVKK (Law on Protection of Personal Data) or in case of statutory obligation, with public organizations and institutions authorized to request such data and, provided that the sufficient security measures and precautions are taken accordingly, with our contracted organizations and enterprises, suppliers, authorized dealers/agents/business associates in accordance with our operations and activities. You may have further information on our contracted organizations and enterprises, suppliers, authorized dealers/agents/business associates in accordance with our operations and activities by using the tools and methods stated on the application form.
 
  
Security of your Personal Data
The entire personal data of your shared with us shall be retained and stored in the common database of ZEPLIN group in accordance with Article 12 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data Nr. 6698 and shall not be disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. ZEPLIN governs an access management and takes physical security measures and precautions for the purpose of ensuring the protection of information systems containing personal data against unauthorized access and illegal data processing.
 
Your Rights Related to Your Personal Data
You are entitled, at any time, with the right to obtain information, for the correction, alteration, deletion and withdrawal of your consent related to processing and use of your personal data. You may, at any time, contact us by using the methods stated on the application form for the purpose of exercising your rights on your personal data shared with us in accordance with the methods for acquiring your personal data and the purposes  stated in this Policy on Protection of Personal Information in accordance with the Article 11 of Law on Protection of Personal Data Nr. 6698. 
 

Storage and Retention of your Personal Data in Accurate and Updated State
Our customers hereby agree and state that the liability and responsibility arising from the storage and retention of their personal data shared online through our websites, mobile applications or directly by contacting our corporate employees in an accurate and updated state and their exercise of their rights set forth in the Law on Protection of Personal Data Nr. 6698 and other regulatory legislations shall entirely and solely borne by themselves. In this regard, you may update your personal data shared with us by using the tools and methods stated on the application form.
 

Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Your Personal Data
Your Personal Data processed for the purposes stated on this Policy on Protection of Personal Data, in case of absence of the purpose requiring for the process in accordance with Article 7/f.1 of the Law Nr. 6698 and after The expiry of the terms set forth by the applicable Laws in accordance with Article 82 of Turkish Code of Commerce Nr. 6102 and Article 138 of Turkish Penal Code, shall be deleted, destructed or continued to be used by anonymizing by us  in accordance with the relevant provisions of regulation.
 
Measures for Protection of Personal Data

Protection of personal data is the highest priority of ZEPLIN. Therefore, appropriate measures are taken by ZEPLIN against the unauthorized access to the personal data or loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction of this date. ZEPLIN employs and adopts generally accepted security technology standards such as firewalls and Secure Socket Layer encryption while storing the personal data. In addition to that, while transmitting your personal data to ZEPLIN through website or mobile applications, such data is transferred by using SSL. Furthermore, additional security measures shall be taken such as circulation controls of data within the scope of the Law Nr. 6698 and logging the access shall be taken accordingly.
 
ZEPLIN, in accordance with Article 12 of Law on Protection of Personal Data, takes technical and administrative measures and precautions to prevent 
 
illegal and unauthorized access to personal data, illegal processing of the personal data and to ensure the storage and retention of data for ensuring the appropriate security level and performs audits and inspection required within this scope or have those controls and audits performed. In case of any damage and loss or disclosure to the third parties of the personal data as a result of cyber attacks to the website and system in spite of the security measures taken by ZEPLIN, ZEPLIN promptly notifies you and the Board of Protection of Personal Data regarding this situation.
 
Amendments to be Performed on the Policy on Protection of Personal Data
ZEPLIN is entitled to perform the legally required amendments and alterations on this Policy on Protection of Personal Data to the extent required by the operations and activities. Our esteemed members and customers shall be informed and notified on the amendments to be performed on this Policy on Protection of Personal Data.
